Paradise Wildlife Park

Looking for a day full of wildlife excitement? If so then Paradise Wildlife Park is for you. Here you can get close to lions, tigers, monkeys, zebras, birds, camels and reptiles. 

Recent additions to the park are a beaver colony, penguins, a white tiger, white lions as well as a Speedway Museum and Tumble Jungle Indoor play area. Here you can have a fresh Starbucks coffee if you so wish.

You will also find other attractions at the park such as three adventure playgrounds as well as a Paradise Lagoon, tractor trailer ride and a Dinosaur Woodland Railway. This is a great day out for all the family and one worth considering.

St. Albans Cathedral

The Cathedral is open all year round from 8am-5.45pm except for Christmas day when it closes at 1pm. The information desk is open from 10.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. To contact the information desk please call (01727) 860780. Visitors are advised to contact the Cathedral before visiting, as occasionally there are functions that may prohibit certain parts of the Cathedral from being viewed.

There are disabled facilities available for guests such as Braille, and inductive loop system for those visitors with a T setting on their hearing-aid and a wheelchair ramp.

The Chilterns

The Chiltern Hills are a beautiful area of unspoilt countryside in England. They can be found a few miles to the north of London. The Chilterns area starts in Oxfordshire and spreads north-east through Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire to Hitchin in Hertfordshire.

There are many things to see when visiting the Chiltern's, and many attractions to enjoy. You can participate in a picnic with several beautiful views to enjoy, or visit one of the historic buildings littered around the site. It is also possible to take part in horse-riding, cycling and riding during your visit.
